SPEAKER & TOPIC: Tonight's speaker is Shane Johnson. Shane is a local biologist, long-time member of the Calusa Herpetological Society, and also the current vice-president of the society. The title of his talk is "Exploring the America West - Part 2". This talk is an updated travelogue of his many years exploring the American Wild West from Idaho's Snake River Valley south to the Mojave Desert. This will be a diverse presentation containing an overview of western ecology, amazing scenery, and of course plenty of cool herp photographs. Don't miss out on a great presentation!!!

HO'S INVITED ? You are! Anyone with an interest in any aspect of herpetology or herpetoculture is welcome to attend, learn, and exchange their experiences with our friendly membership. Come out to meet others who keep, breed or study reptiles and amphibians, and let them share their fascination with you. We average 35 – 70 people attending every meeting.

Cookies and cold soda, a nightly raffle of live herps, herp products, and books follow each speaker's talk, and lots of herp camaraderie, gossip, and fun can be counted upon at all meetings !
