| | The Calusa Herpetological Society
         Of Southwest Florida | |
Thursday, October 6, 2011 - 7:00 pm
  SPEAKER
 & TOPIC
 :

 In lieu of a speaker,
we will be showing the National Geographic production “Shane Untamed:
 Swamp Beasts”.  Shane Reynolds
(a.k.a. Shane O) is a Florida native and he kicks off his untamed adventures
close to home in the world-famous Everglades. The Everglades are the largest
subtropical wilderness in the United States, and Shane O will travel from one
end to the other, encountering its most deadly, invasive, and endangered
species. He will face snakes, alligators, crocodiles, and possibly even a Skunk
Ape — the hairy, bipedal mammal that is rumored to live in the Everglades —
although I think it was last spotted in……Arizona?  Come out and enjoy
 the show.
