Red-footed Tortoises
Tonight's speaker is Bill Murray of Redfoot Ranch. The title of his presentation is "Red-footed Tortoises (Chelonoidis carbonaria) - Captive Care and Propagation".
Bill has had a passion for turtles and tortoises for most of his life. He has over 25 years of experience keeping red-footed tortoises and believes they are the perfect tortoises to keep and breed in Florida. He is a frequent vendor at Florida reptile shows and has been involved with the Florida Turtle and Tortoise Club. Bill has spoken for our herp society two previous times (2008 and 2010) and gave excellent presentations.
WHO'S INVITED? You are! Anyone with an interest in any aspect of herpetology or herpetoculture is welcome to attend, learn, and exchange their experiences with our friendly membership. Come out to meet others who keep, breed or study reptiles and amphibians, and let them share their fascination with you. We average 10 - 20 people attending every meeting.
