This
month's speaker is Brett Bartek. Brett
is a Florida native and ecologist with a local environmental consulting firm.
The title of Brett's talk is
"Cane Toads in the Kimberly".
After spending five months chasing Australia's largest lizards
around the outback, Brett visited the Kimberly region
of western Australia to assist his collaborators in following up on a 10 year
long study investigating the affects of cane toads on Australia's native
herpetofauna. Please join us as Brett discusses the
impacts of these central American amphibians on crocodiles, turtles, monitor
lizards, and more!
