Recovery of Sanibel Wildlife (highlighting amphibians and reptiles)
 This
 month's speaker is Chris
 Lechowicz, Treasurer of the Calusa Herpetological Society. He will give a
 presentation on the Recovery of Sanibel Wildlife
 Post-Ian, where he will highlight the amphibians and reptiles and
 their recovery in a changed landscape.Chris is the Director of the Wildlife & Habitat Management
 Program at the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation where he has worked for
 over 20 years. Chris conducts research and monitoring of wildlife on Sanibel
 and other islands in Pine Island Sound and manages over 2000 acres of
 conservation land. He is the coauthor of the book: Amphibians and Reptiles of
 Sanibel & Captiva Islands: A Natural History (2013) and has been a
 Calusa Herp Society member since 2002.

WHO'S INVITED? You are! Anyone with an interest in any aspect of herpetology or herpetoculture is welcome to attend, learn, and exchange their experiences with our friendly membership. Come out to meet others who keep, breed or study reptiles and amphibians, and let them share their fascination with you. We average 10 - 20 people attending every meeting.
