SPEAKER & TOPIC :

TONIGHT’S  MEETING :  Tonight is a special field trip meeting down south to Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens (see their website at: http://www.napleszoo.com/).  Director David Tetzlaff has invited us all to a private viewing of the entire zoo grounds this evening starting at 5:00 pm after the gates close to the public.  A special tour of the facilities will commence at 5:30 pm for whoever from our group is waiting then by the Safari Canyon Amphitheater  (located right inside the zoo entrance).  The ‘regular’ herp meeting will commence at 7:00 pm in the amphitheatre  "Serpents:  Fangs and Fiction", a special presentation of live specimens and multimedia on venomous & non-venomous snakes by the zoo’s staff.  The Naples Zoo is one of the only accredited (AZA) zoos in the country using venomous reptiles that have not been altered in any way.

Don’t miss this great combination field trip and talk !

WHO'S INVITED ? You are! Anyone with an interest in any aspect of herpetology or herpetoculture is welcome to attend, learn, and exchange their experiences with our friendly membership. Come out to meet others who keep, breed or study reptiles and amphibians, and let them share their fascination with you. We average 35 – 70 people attending every meeting.

Cookies and cold soda, a nightly raffle of live herps, herp products, and books follow each speaker's talk, and lots of herp camaraderie, gossip, and fun can be counted upon at all meetings !
